Here I'm posting the books I love and if you click on the book you'll get my thoughts and why I'm recommending it to you.  These books may be in the field of surgery, they may be self help or they may be works of non-fiction or fiction that I'm enjoying.

How do I score them?  Each book gets a rating out of 10, and I have one rule...I'm not allow to give anything a score of 7.  Anytime you give something a score of 7 you're hedging and hedging does not help anyone.  Since these are books I'm recommending to you, you won't find any low scoring books...those didn't make the cut.  Perhaps I bought them one day and then discarded.

Medical Books

Medical books include textbooks but also smaller books that I've found incredibly useful; for example, Top Knife or Cope's Diagnosis of the Acute Abdomen...they may be small but they are absolute gold and critical for your shelf.
